The practice is closed on Monday the 30th of September due to the bank Holiday.

Register with us as a New Patient

The practice accepts registrations of people who live in Clarkston and the surrounding areas. Acceptance on to the list is at the discretion of the Principal Doctor and Practice Manager. The practice no longer accepts registrations from people who reside in the G75 or G74 postcode areas. You will find details of GPs who serve your area on GP practices | NHS inform

It is best that new patients register online but paper copies of the registration form can be obtained at the surgery. If accepted on to the patient register, your registration will be processed within ten working days and your records will be requested from the relevant health board. These may take several weeks to arrive. It is important that you order a supply of your long-term medication from your current GP before changing practices. The practice cannot accommodate same day appointments for new patients on the day they complete their registration form.

There are a number of reasons why you may not be able to register with your chosen GP, for example you may live too far away. If this is the case simply choose another GP in your local area. For people who reside in G74 and G75 postcodes-your health board is Lanarkshire and you should register with a GP who serves this area. Details of GPs can be found online at NHS Inform GP practices | NHS inform.

It is is important to note that you can only permanently register with a GP practice if you’re staying in the area for more than 3 months.
